A very warm welcome to Precious Play!
My name is Natasha and I’m a Mum of two. As an experienced Early Years teacher, I have managed to pick up a few tricks along the way and I aim to share my ideas with parents, teachers, nursery practitioners, childminders and any others who have the pleasure of spending time with young children. Find out more about me and my experiences here…
My aim is for you to find some creative play ideas to help your little ones learn in a natural, fun and discreet way. I am constantly trying to make it easier to browse the archives and find what you are looking for. You can search by Age, Area of Learning, Skill, Important Play Opportunities or use key words in the search box.
I hope you enjoy playing with us and please do contact me if there’s anything you’d like more of!
Thank you for visiting us,
Natasha, J and G

It is important to note that no two children are the same. There is no doubt that they all develop at their own rate, at differing times and by no means do these categories mean your child cannot dip into any of the play ideas. J still loves playing games and activities he enjoyed as a toddler. Obviously, it may be that there is an activity in the preschool section that a two year old may love or a six year old. It is merely meant as a simpler way to look for activities for your child’s age group.
