My name is Natasha and I’m a Mum of three.  As an experienced Early Years teacher, I have managed to pick up a few tricks along the way and I aim to share my ideas with parents, teachers, nursery practitioners, child-minders and any others who have the pleasure of spending time with young children.

Find out about what ‘learning through play’ means to me here…

I am constantly trying to make it easier to browse the archives and find what you are looking for.  You can search by Age, Area of Learning, Skill, or use key words in the search box.

I hope you enjoy playing with us and please do contact me if there’s anything you’d like more of!

NEW! NEW! NEW in 2021!

I now have a new ‘baby’ called, ‘The Phonics Queen!’ The aim is to share my passion, ideas and unique strategies in teaching children to learn to read and write using phonics.  Please find me on Instagram (@thephonicsqueen), Facebook (The Phonics Queen) and Youtube (The Phonics Queen).

  1. Hi Natasha! First of all- let me say how much I’ve loved looking at your blog… my 16 month old daughter Chessie adored the box with ribbons-genius! I’m a therapist and I live just outside Lincoln, I have a book out imminently all about how to tackle picky eating in pre-school aged children, written from a psychological/therapeutic perspective. I don’t look at nutrition, just the emotional and behavioural side of picky eating.
My blog and Facebook page will be up and running soon, and I’m on twitter @johannacormack

    Good luck with everything!
    Jo
